IAG – what on earth is that?

Officially IAG stands for “Information Advice and Guidance”. What it really means is IPS expert trainers will provide you with information, help and support - to decide on the best training programme to pursue, to get through it effectively and gain everything possible from it, and to work out what to do next.

This help is targeted both at each individual potential trainee and each employer who needs training to improve the business. Of course IPS trainers have been doing this for many years. Just click on “more” to see all the detail of what we provide.

Much training – especially Apprenticeships and Train to Gain is government funded. Included as part of what the government funds is the provision of IAG. IPS tries very hard to make this a seamless process – letting you know what you need when you need it - progressively as you decide on your training programme, as you pursue it and finally as you wish to progress to more training.

To make sure we do a good job for each trainee and each employer IPS has made a commitment to achieve the Matrix standard. Matrix is a well established national standard for any training provider which demonstrates that IAG is well provided and well managed.
