The key skills tests

The key skills tests

At levels 1 and 2 there are 40 multiple-choice questions.  At level 3 the tests are longer and more complex.  For level 3 in information and communication technology the test consists of a sequence of practical tasks and is done using a computer

If you do not pass first time, you can take the test again (a bit like a driving test).

The level 1 and 2 tests are mostly completed on-line with an immediate result.  We do offer the opportunity for those who would prefer a paper based version to be able to do so.  For level 3 they are paper based with fewer but more complex questions.
